@randahl To be fair, my ten year old north american GM car has the same kind of remote "kill switch" vulnerability. It's there as a feature of the OnStar theft protection package that came with the car even though I'm not paying for it.

If the U.S. regime wanted to take over Canada, it could (potentially) order car companies to disable nearly every car and truck we have.

The president, according to NPR, has moved ahead with his $250 million idea without consent from the National Capital Planning Commission, which approves major renovations to federal buildings in the Washington, D.C., area. The commission is closed due to the federal shutdown, according to its website.

Canadians have been going on about #PeteHoekstra for some time, now, and that's not the only offensive and propagandist thing that xe has said.

The one commentator I saw a month ago who explicitly called out Hoekstra's false conflation of #MeToo and #ElbowsUp was the same one who has pointed out that every time that Hoekstra opens xyr mouth a fresh impetus is given to the #BoycottUSA movement.
