In the lower left is a 1908 Western Gas Engine. Its single cylinder has a bore of 16cm (6.25") & stroke of 30cm (12"). It's rated for 12HP at 340rpm. It weighs 544kg (1200lbs). It's fun to hear these engines run. You can often find smaller versions at county fairs. You can easily see/hear the engine cycle through its four strokes of intake, compression, power (BANG!), & exhaust.
