This is a good sign for podcasting #Fediverse apps like @Castopod, #WordPress (as well as @wordpressdotcom), @ghost, #MicroDotBlog, @peertube, etcetera, as it means more people are interested in listening to & creating podcasts.

I think professional podcasters will opt to use their own sites instead of relying on #Meta.

@hiphopheaven @threads @Castopod @wordpressdotcom @ghost @peertube Due to Instagram being video heavy, photographers found new life on Threads, which Meta doubled down on September of last year by raising the maximum photo limit to 20 pictures/videos (up from 10 previously).

Also I noticed that Threads seems to have muted interaction with Pixelfed on the Fediverse, but they have not outright blocked the platform, which to me signifies their ability to block ActivityPub apps by software types.
