A late afternoon color landscape of a desert short-scrub landscape dotted with numerous joshua trees. The "trees" are short, around ten feet tall, with dark brown hairy trunks. The trunks are covered in what use to be the green spiky sword like leaves, only the ends are broken off and the dried leaves hang down close to the trunk. At the top of the trunk, about half way up the height of the tree are several short branches. At the end of each branch is a globe of green sword like spike leaves. Tall mountains are in the not too distant background. Dark clouds hang in the thin slice of sky above the clouds.
