@eff ah, just extend that to cameras on every lamp post and tracking people's movement about town. what could go wrong?
@eff And I know @fight do have their own Anti-Facial Recognition Petition.: https://www.banfacialrecognition.com/
@eff Do you have a Petition to Stop this Racist Crap?
I'm AGAINST Facial Recognition because I got Scars on my Face.
Please Set Up an Online Petition to Stop this. I wish Facial Recognition NEVER exist in the Galaxy.
@eff Any technology that promises more safety and security for those in power will always be funded, while technologies designed to promote safety and security for the marginalized against those in power will always be made illegal. Such is the nature of power and authority.
Please chief should be fired until one stops this nonsense. The other alternative is just to cut off the police department and hire a different organization for public safety.
@eff aye

@eff IMO body-worn cameras are themselves an egregious invasion of privacy during most encounters.
@eff ☝️
EPS officers' body cameras will feed our faces to a US firm for analysis. It's only a test, they say.
This lays the foundation for a police state.

The people behind the taser.
How could it go wrong?
'This kind of technology could give officers instant identification of any person that crosses their path.'
