@manisha wait, was the presence of em dashes a red flag? I was a big em dash user in my undergrad papers long ago
@manisha it's funny to see people claiming that they use it because they like it, and it's their style. I've never seen em dashes in non literary texts for my entire life, and even in literature, they weren't that common. They were so rare, that I always noticed them. Now, all of sudden, they started appearing everywhere!
