It’s a real honour to be part of any Books of the Year list, but being picked by a bookseller hits differently. Thank you so much to The Nairn Bookshop for supporting my book 'Drystone' so generously.

They’ve also highlighted two other excellent Scottish books, worth a look if you’re choosing gifts or planning your winter reading.

Smith. The bookseller adds that Drystone was their standout book, noting they don’t usually enjoy memoirs.
