A new deployment of federal agents arrived in Charlotte, North Carolina as part of U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest push to carry out large-scale arrests in Democratic-led cities. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2025/11/16/world/politics/charlotte-trump-immigration-crackdown/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=mastodon #worldnews #politics #charlotte #immigration #us #donaldtrump #republicans

@thejapantimes

The thing is, now they are sending the border patrol to blue cities within red states, where their governors are likely to welcome this with open arms - less risk of getting sued again and caught up in the courts (not to mention the support from their state police and national guards).

Why Charlotte and New Orleans, instead of San Francisco and Seattle? Because the regime is weak but still wants to keep up the appearance.
