Relatedly: Sewing is such a dainty and delicate hobby, in no way at all will you develop interesting new callouses and pierce the tips of your fingers so many times that the skin comes off in sort of strata... 馃槄 And this is with me using thimbles!

#Sewing #HandSewing

A very close up photo of the fingertips of Sini's right hand. There are, indeed, interesting tiny callouses and the skin of her pointer finger looks absolutely shredded like it's been experiencing minute damage for several weeks, healing over again and again, now a sort of pink fingertip with plates of dry skin attempting to flake off, but also polished to a high shine by constant contact. It's not a huge amount of wear, but it's on a very very small area.

This isn't even that bad, but it nonetheless amuses me. Fingerprints, what fingerprints? Sir I am a SEAMSTRESS, they're always in flux!
