I'm getting to this late but the news about the destruction of Teen Vogue and the eradication of its political viewpoint is gutting. It's so disgusting to watch the rich destroy platform after platform like this in the second #Trump era. They're so deliberately hollowing out journalism and blatantly undermining the ability of the people to advocate for a better world. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/business/business-news/conde-nast-teen-vogue-newsguild-1236417079/

I agree. They spend money on destroying good publications, thinking they destroyed desent journalism.
However, good journalism has more to do with the journalists themselves than the name of the publication.
So we should all cancel subscriptions for publications that fall below a certain threshold of quality. And we should use the money to fund startup publications that exhibit good vibes.
I'm so grateful that I got to appear in Teen Vogue before the end, and my condolences to my editor Lex McMenamin and everyone else that's losing their jobs there. Hoping you all land on your feet soon. https://www.teenvogue.com/story/texas-schools-forced-to-deadname-trans-students
