Added today floor markings to clarify tasks and created a few new assets, for instance the leaf trees shown here, for my #cozy programming puzzle game. Also tweaked the shader a bit to highlight creases a bit more. Far from perfect, as usual. But the direction is right.
In case you got curious about the game, here is the steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3959370/8bitBot/
The image shows a compact factory-themed level from 8-bitBot combining industrial and natural elements.
Two robots, one blue and one green, are moving along conveyor belts surrounded by machinery and control panels. The floor has path markers with directional lines indicating where the crates should be delivered.
On the left side, a large tree with autumn-colored leaves stands above the machinery, adding contrast between nature and technology. Smaller plants, bushes, and mushrooms appear in the corners, softening the industrial layout.
The environment includes labeled factory machines (A and B), a wall-mounted screen displaying a conveyor schematic, and detailed tile flooring with caution-striped edges. The level feels like a mix of production area and nature reclaiming space, characteristic of the game’s blend of logic puzzles and visual charm.
The image shows a small 8-bitBot level with a natural, outdoor setting.
A blue robot is positioned on a stone path surrounded by rocks, plants, and bushes with autumn-colored leaves. A narrow wooden bridge connects two stone platforms, and a blue target marker is visible at the far end of the path, likely serving as the robot’s goal.
The environment includes decorative details such as colorful mushrooms, fallen leaves, and a cobweb on one of the rocks. The combination of stone tiles and vegetation gives the scene a calm and organic atmosphere, contrasting with the game’s usual industrial factory theme.
