I was reading a blog post by #fdroid about the requirements for signed packages: https://f-droid.org/2025/09/29/google-developer-registration-decree.html

I think this will be more interesting in the coming years because more people are foregoing using a desktop or laptop and doing everything on a tablet or phone. Even #ChromeOS will soon be replaced with something #Android based. The demand for Android version of apps have never been higher and the inability to use F-Droid on regular Android devices will have lasting effects.
