I've never seen otters in the Water of Leith, despite looking for them several times since I first heard reports of them, about ten years ago.

Until today when I saw one just upstream from Stockbridge.

And then another, about a mile further upstream by the Belford Rd squash and tennis courts.

Two different otters. Gobsmacked.

I only had my phone on me. Bet it'll be another ten years before I see them again!
