@jarekrozanski here's rust (port 4000) and raw nginx (port 80) under 1000 concurrent client contention, serving a plain static file over a LAN on my potato. I don't believe you actually have as much of a potato as you say.

Back in 2003 my target was 400ms with PHP4... on Windows on a Pentium II that ran at 400 MHz with 64 MB of RAM.
Same target with Node.js SSR in 2013.
I'm not sure what happened after but here we are.
@emilis I mean a server that's slammed with thousands of concurrent clients maxing out its resources and then some. For smaller blasts, it's like 50ms.
