Ben Meiselas notes that when Meidas reported that the Trump administration planned to stage a live-fire artillery drill in California over I-5 on No Kings day, everybody and their siblings said that Meidas was creating fake news: none of this was going to happen:
"The Marines issued a statement claiming they were not firing live munitions over the highway. Trump’s press team called us fake news."
