I think I need to find a replacement for Scrivener. It runs *okay* in Linux, but there are some real issues.

No need to give me links to other Scrivener-like programs. I'm aware of them.

But if you write long-form in Linux, what do you use and *why*? I'm really curious about that.

@OrionKidder My go-to tool for when I want a GUI writing tool is almost always LibreOffice Writer. It supports standardized file formats (you can also set it to adhere strictly to the OpenDocument standard), lets me do pretty much everything I can ever want and then some, and the document navigation features are definitely workable (but require that you use proper headings). One of my longer characters is approaching 55K words and it handles that fine.
