I think I need to find a replacement for Scrivener. It runs *okay* in Linux, but there are some real issues.

No need to give me links to other Scrivener-like programs. I'm aware of them.

But if you write long-form in Linux, what do you use and *why*? I'm really curious about that.

I take a lot of pride in being quite "techy” and able to sort out programs, menus, and get a gist of things.

but sweet baby jesus the learning curve on trying to use #Scrivener for my academic final Capstone #thesis ?!

I don't want to spend months writing only to be defeated by the nuances of “complie”…
