@jim I don't understand the reporting here. Zendesk isn't an "age verification firm".

I'm as opposed to this as many, but I think the truth and accuracy are important, and the Guardian is missing the mark here, as are many other outlets running this story!

@ret I guess the point is that the customer support system was given the task of dealing with age verification, where the AV system had failed. So it (perhaps unexpectedly, without due thought and attention) formed part of Discord's AV systems, and it proved less robust than needed.
