@neil
Have a look at https://codeberg.org/Chfkch/bitritter
for BitWarden. It's not polished, but viewing items works, creating/saving not yet.
@postmarketOS
@neil @postmarketOS enjoyed that thanks. You are a little further advanced in your research than me but some good tips for me to work on.
@elperronegro I look forward to reading your experiences in due course!
@neil just been testing Tangram for web apps on my OP6 (PostmarketOS). Problem I found was the "Add Tab" button (v important!) was missing until I dropped my monitor scales from 273% to 222%. Then the add tab button appeared. It's a bit fiddly and messy, but once you have your custom web apps installed this way Tangram seems to function quite nicely.
@neil I recall that Chats had dropped support for xmpp. So I think Dino will be the best bet. Do notifications from Dino fail to show even when the app is open? Or do you mean if the app is closed, it won't give notifications?
I get no notifications, whether the app is open or closed, even though notifications are enabled.
Audio fails whether the app is open or closed.
@neil @postmarketOS nice to read about your experiences. Tangram is pretty great for web apps, and tuba is a good mastodon client.
I also need to go back and fiddle with pmOS at some point
@neil @postmarketOS for navigation, try osmin
@neil re maps, I'm not sure whether flatpak installs work on PostMarket, but I've used Organic Maps on my desktop linux system: https://organicmaps.app/faq/linux/how-to-use-flatpak/
@neil @postmarketOS try flare for signal
@jeb2 It looks pretty limited (security aside)?
@neil @jeb2 I find Flare does enough for what I need. An alternative is the unofficial signal flatpak that includes an arm build here: https://signalflatpak.github.io/signal/
