Trump's impending statement that autism is linked to acetaminophen (paracetamol) use isn't just ableism.

Acetaminophen is one of the very few analgesics that can be safely used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. This announcement is going to signal official health policy shift around the use of it.

This is a further leaning into the misogynistic christian idea that "women" are meant to suffer during pregnancy and childbirth (Gen3.16) as a consequence of subverting the natural order of submission to men.

We talk about the US becoming a fascist state, but are missing out on the discussion of how christian nationalism is the pathway there.
