Made Maraq Misir for dinner last night. It's a Somali lentil stew with lots of veggies. So yummy! #food #cooking #lentils

That looks very tasty, what kind of spices does it have in it? (If I tried to make by eye I'd make another daal variation...)

It is very similar to a daal but uses a spice blend called Xawaash that really gives the stew a unique flavor. You can make your own, but I'm lazy and just buy it online.
