Sort of #Bloomscrolling I suppose, I'm admiring and taking great joy in these paper flowers that Kid2 crafted in free time and evenings last week.
Worked hard on this! I'm told for the carnation, each petal was individually markered on the top to get the coloration right (see pic 3)
More #FlowerArt by kid2. Too cold in the basement so just a small area in her room that's the workspace. Saw her yesterday making lots of these tiny paper cuts on a small strip of yellow paper - turns out they were for the middle.

She started back up a day ago to get ready for a weekend classical music concert by profs at the univ she went to for a summer workshop. She wants to have small bunches for the performers.
Here - the roses are all done!

So besides the roses 👆🏽 that kid2 made (those were easier and quicker apparently), she wanted to try and make (yellow and white) ipê flowers that grow in Brazil where one of the profs/performers is from. She looked up pics and made some. Turned out nice!
Then she made a bunch of others - and put together in 5 bunches/bouquets to take to the performance today and give out.

Long time since I watched full shows with them. I remember I watched Avatar, then Korra and also 3 seasons of Dragon Prince with them.
(Oh wait I did (re)watch with them 4 seasons of Stranger Things)
