The disruption, which started at around 6:20AM ET, is linked to a “configuration file that is automatically generated to manage threat traffic,” Cloudflare spokesperson Jackie Dutton tells The Verge. “The file grew beyond an expected size of entries and triggered a crash in the software system that handles traffic for a number of Cloudflare’s services.” Dutton added that “there is no evidence” of an attack or other malicious activity.

Cloudfare failed because the list of shit places on the intertubes is SO BIG it catches cloudfare in the throat evetytime it looks something up.
ADD on top of that, the unblocked terabytes of corporate handcuff, spy, insult and lie sites, and the federation looks like the only daisy floating in effluent.

Birds of Paradise flowers are notoriously hard to capture. Depth of field is tricky and they often run in packs where they're all looking in different directions so in the background other blooms can be distracting. Today a lone BoP had only its top plumage lit up by the sun in an otherwise shaded corner of someone's yard.
