I thought I’d try out this #FootpathFriday tag because I have lots of trail pics! This one is in #AcadiaNationalPark on #MountDesert #Maine. This particular path runs along the shore of #JordanPond. This picture was taken in June 2023.

A graveled path extends into the distance, on the right of the path is a green mostly coniferous forest, on the left are a few trees on the bank of Jordan Pond.

I came across this porcupine kit/yearling on the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park, Maine. It was grazing on the plants growing among the crack in the rocks. #wildlifephotography #porcupine #naturephotography #cadillacmountain #AcadiaNationalPark #NPS #maine #mountdesertisland
