The purple band is a “nonsense” band. No specific pattern other than when you move “forwards” you produce an M, and “backwards” makes a W. The change between gives you 2-3 dots, depending when you switch. Cotton thread.
Blue-yellow woven band with S and Z shapes, flanked by a black-white chevron. Both Finnish grave finds, combined into one weave.
Red-yellow woven band with alternating diamond shapes.
Purple-blue-green woven band with M and W shapes.
