in summer i bought this small hand woven bag and i was unable to find a matching strap for it. i picked up tablet weaving to make one myself. this is it! it is finished, i am done, i can stop now

I've maybe discovered a #TabletWeaving pattern that can't be woven on my portable loom. Woven forward, it looks great! (See arrow at the bottom marking the end of the first correct forward pattern.) But several of the cards build up twist, and "everyone" says to just weave backwards or flip the cards. But regardless of whether I go backwards or flip, I get these funny little squiggles at the end of the pattern (see top arrow pointing at them).
Anyone know what's up? Maybe I've goofed?
Ok, Facebook #Tabletweaving group to the rescue -- someone pointed out that if I was reversing the turn on the tablets, I needed to weave the pattern backwards. So get to the end, and then mirror from the end back to the front rather than restarting at the front. Someone else really helpfully reminded me of Twisted Threads (https://twistedthreads.org), which would let me write out the whole pattern and its reverse, see what it will look like when woven, and check that it's twist neutral.

Writing an absurd amount of scheme code to simply try and figure out how to continue this weaving pattern I started a few months ago (and after several studio moves) lost an important piece of paper...

More tablet / card weaving! Shop still in progress - I’ll get back to woodworking soon, I promise.
The purple band is a “nonsense” band. No specific pattern other than when you move “forwards” you produce an M, and “backwards” makes a W. The change between gives you 2-3 dots, depending when you switch. Cotton thread.
