I enjoyed reading Patrick Lin's essay "Why We’re Not Using AI in This Course, Despite Its Obvious Benefits". Some of it is too US-centric for me to share it with my students and I also dislike what I interpret as a condescending attitude towards vocational schools, but I like many of the analogies and linked articles and am generally grateful that some people in education, including the author, are pushing back against #GenAI in intelligent ways that aim to include rather than exclude students.
