I've been catching up with my #IndigenousArtist friend for the past hour. She's been accepted as an aboriginal artist in residence at a downtown Victoria studio.

She's invited me into the studio & I'll share photo updates from there, this month. We're going to collaborate on some visual arts while she works her 4 month #ArtistResidency. I'll be helping her with hide tanning work too.

It's Jada's first artist residency placement! I'm so happy for her to be given this fabulous opportunity! She's an amazing friend, woman, artist, activist, community helper & Mother ❤️

2205/2500 rent and utilities due 2 days ago. Disabled and unable to work a regular job. Selling my art and donations is how I stay safe and housed. Anything helps. ❤️

Have a cut off notice for my gas so really trying to get the rest of this. I have 2 days left.
