@phoenix The US has never been a defense focused country though, it is *THE* country that creates almost all conflicts and wars across the globe, whether directly or through soft power meddling. Renaming DoD to Department of War seems pretty appropriate. Calling it Department of Defense was the lie. There are countries whose militaries are focused purely on defense, but US isn't one of them. US literally has a #DepartmentOfWar because even now the US is inching towards #ww3 against China.
