Absolutely disgusting and embarrassing that #London police are happy to arrest anti-genocide protesters by the hundreds while leaving the fucking fash alone, so long as they stay on one side of the road while they're intimidating people who've come here trying to find safety.

Fuck off, racists. We don't want you.

Metropolitan Police tweets from approx. 3pm, Sunday 17 August 2025
"Updates on the public order policing operation in central London today will be posted on this thread as necessary.

Officers are currently deployed around the area being used to accommodate asylum seekers near Canary Wharf where a protest is taking place outside."

"We have imposed conditions using Section 14 of the Public Order Act to prevent serious disruption at the protests in Canary Wharf.

The group protesting against the use of the hotel by asylum seekers have been instructed to remain on the pavement opposite the Britannia Hotel."
