so... i've sorta lost track, but roughly two or three years ago i started making this little game. today I'm happy, but also a little sad, to be finally letting it go into the world. it's been a way for me to process so much.

i hope playing it will make you sad, thoughtful, and maybe make you laugh a little.

gone from 0.02 triangles per frame to just over 40

not optimized anywhere near as much as it could be, and also has rounding errors that might make edges not line up, but a lot closer to useful

i have started with a correct but really terrible triangle rasterizer that takes nearly a second to draw a big one

i remember seeing some shootout on the PICO-8 BBS with tris/sec up around 3k maybe? so let's see how far i can get before i end up borrowing other people's code

prototype inventory display shows you the eligible items for a given slot at a tangent and then you page through them… either with action buttons or the right stick, not sure what'll feel good yet

i need a bunch more gunk to make this look decent, probably including a real triangle rasterizer and an animation system (coroutines?) but i have hope
