OK, I'm gonna rewatch some episodes from "Why Women Kill", now. Not because of the episode, but because I was already watching recently, and stamping down my frustration about the show being cancelled.

I'm guessing it was cancelled because too many important shitty guys were afraid it would give the women in their lives some ideas?

Gotten to that episode of the first season, when they visit the young man on life-support dying of AIDS.

Shit this brings back so many memories, when I was so very young.

Back in the 80's, the owners of the little shop I worked in lived upstairs. As did many shop owners in #NoeValley.

I remember my boss's mom, also my boss, bringing Jim milkshakes upstairs. He was fading.

And then he was gone, like so many others. Just gone.

The other day, I participated in a super-local protest, in my #NoeValley neighborhood of San Francisco.

Was chatting a bit with the folks near me and I mentioned Mastodon, and one person asked me 'how do you find interacting in the fediverse, outside of mastoston?'

I mentioned that it's hard to tell, for me

I'd update to say that one of the easiest interactions I've experienced to far has been with pixelfed. But I'm thinking that it's just a numbers game. I notice pixelfed account interaction
