Flokito, along with Meme, says goodbye to the #Bluesky bridge this Sunday morning. This is the final post before we block the bridge to the centralized social network based on venture capital and that collaborates with hate. We invite those who are still subjected to it to migrate soon to one of the many options of the #Fediverse, the global decentralized #SocialWeb with intense diversity that can be under the control of the people themselves or their communities, via the #ActivityPub protocol, a standard recommended by the W3C.

How to block Bluesky from Mastodon:
1. Go to the profile page of the account @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy
2. Click ⋯
3. Click "Block Domain" to stop seeing Bluesky accounts
4. Click "Block" to prevent your own account being bridged to Bluesky
You may need to copy-paste @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy into the search box on your server to make the profile appear.
If you can't find the account @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy, your server is probably already blocking the Bluesky bridge.
Does the #nobridge tag work? I couldn't find any documentation right away. I think if you put it in your profile, it's supposed to prevent bridging of your account to other platforms like #Bluesky. Or maybe it's more human-oriented, as a request to other users.
I set it in my profile(s) and also blocked the bridging bot & the whole bsky.brid.gy domain. I'm not sure if the tag helps or matters.
In light of the newly-verified ICE account therein, if you'd like to discontinue federating your profile to bluesky, these are the official instructions from bridgyfed:
How do I opt out and remove my site or account?
If you're on the fediverse or Bluesky, and you've opted in but now want to opt out, block the Bridgy Fed bot user for the network you want to opt out of. For example, on the fediverse, block @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy. On Bluesky, block @ap.brid.gy.
(However, if you're on a Pixelfed instance, DM the word stop to @bsky.brid.gy@bsky.brid.gy instead. Pixelfed doesn't yet send the ActivityPub Block activity, so blocking won't work. Hopefully they'll fix that soon!)
If you're on the web, email us from an address at your web site's domain to show that you own it, or you can put the text #nobridge in the profile on your home page and then update your profile on your user page.
Once you've done this, Bridgy Fed will deactivate your bridged profile in that network, and it will no longer bridge any of your posts or interactions there.
You can undo this later and reactivate bridging for your account, but depending on the network, not everything will be perfectly restored. For example, when you disable bridging into the fediverse, the bridged fediverse account is deleted and all followers are disconnected. If you later re-enable it, fediverse users will have to search for your account by address manually to find and follow it again.

@Em0nM4stodon
Hi Em, what is #nobridge about? I've read about it here and there, but the # unfortunately doesn't lead to an answer, only to more questions..
Tried reversing everything and I think it removed my Bluesky bridge account but Mastodon bridge still exists. Tried adding #nobridge in profiles & posts but there's still 2 profiles with my details. Need to work out how to get rid of it 🙂
