In English, in my own words, so folks don't need machine translation:
Although boricua-as-nation is a concept that will never die and that exists beyond the island, boricua-as-state (that is, country), is something that interests me much less than to liberate the island of Borikén from the territorial abuses of the gringo empire.
The nuance is that I don't want to tie my desire for the liberation of my home to the concept of a State (e.g. country, not US state). It's not only boricuas living in Borikén, and I don't think we should create an environment where that is expected--that would just be a repeat of European racism.
A free Borikén is a Borikén without sovereignty, in an absolute sense.
No to gringo sovereignty, no to a sovereignty of corrupt politicians.
We can create a better world, and we can create it now.
Maybe kinda random, but I've kinda wanted to resolve some conflicting feelings I had about The Situation and I found something that I'm happy with and felt like it was important to just put it out there and be clear where I stand.
Because the tl;dr is I don't actually align with ANY major PR party
