At this evening’s #CrossFit I did the Workout of the Day with someone who was there for the first time. Not only was it great to try to repay the kindness and hand-holding I was given by my first partner almost six months ago but it also made me realise how far I’ve come in those few months. I really hope they stick with it despite the aches and pains they’re going to feel tomorrow.

Grosse douleur aux coudes après un effort de moyenne intensité et plus. Je crois que je vais devoir ralentir mon rythme si je ne veux pas avoir d'emmerdes.
Là, j'ai douillé pendant presque 2h après ma séance et c'est juste pas tenable.

C'est relou.

The next step in my efforts to get fit was to try a #CrossFit class this evening. It was a weird mix of humiliation and exhilaration which culminated in me wondering how I would drive home since my shoulders appeared not to function any more. And yes, I’ll be going to the next class if I can move again in two days.
