Meet Jade, my first try at making a Dragon Amigurumi. 🐉

I wanted to get a feel for the pattern and construction and used fingering scraps. Looking back, probably not my best choice, but it sure gave me a steep learning curve!

Another finished project. Freeform crochet inspired by dragons - 7 large dragons eyes and a couple of nostrils in there and lots of patches of crocodile stitch. Now hiding my tatty but comfortable conservatory chair!

Something that bothers me as a #fiberartist: the number of people who are starting at various crafts (I see #crocheting and #knitting a lot) who feel the need to apologize that their work isn't great; that they're just beginners.

You don't need to be an expert in your chosen hobby/craft to share your work. If there are mistakes, you don't have to apologize ~ even those who've crafted for years make them!
