De organisatie spreekt van een "tragisch incident", waarbij negentien mensen zijn vertrapt en één persoon is doodgestoken. GHF schrijft verder "gegronde redenen" te hebben om te vermoeden dat de onrust is aangewakkerd door aan Hamas gelieerde personen binnen de groep.
