Are there any #GNU/Linux distributions that have strong #anti-gen-AI policies?
I'd love to be able to run something that I could trust would not put #slopware in it's repositories.
I'm fine using outdated versions of my favorite software, if it means I can hold off the #LLM wave.
Right now I have to double-guess every new software release and it's a burden.
There have to be some more #people who care about #EthicalComputing.
Maybe we can fork #Linux too.
@unfa That's not what is said there, it says there needs to be a human in the loop which is a long way from saying you can't use LLMs while creating contributions.

@andymouse we're not talking about Gentoo.
@happyborg Yeah, it's not ideal, but there's resemblence of sanity in there. It seems to be mainly motivated by quality of code, and not ethics of how it's made unfortunately...

The other distros mentioned do prohibit LLM assisted contributors, and deserve credit for that compared to NixOS.
One does mention the ethical issues, and it's the first I've seen doing that. They give examples of their ethical concerns.
