After all these years, during which I've gone through Cancer and back (still getting regular scans and transitioning to Cancer Survivorship Care)....umm...as an artist Mastodon has done very little for me. Sorry, but it's true.
If Mastodon, and the greater fediverse, if you really care about artists and creative works, you need to actually BUY them!
If you don't buy my art, please buy somebody else's! I boost artists I enjoy all the time. Look them up. Buy their art!

You also need to chip in to server costs, on whatever community server you are active on!
This shit isn't free to run. The people who volunteer to fight off nazis and other creeps, and deal with threats from various sources, um...it would be nice I we didn't have to worry if we can still afford to pay server expenses.
You leave a server, and expect somebody to pay for keeping your data there? WTF?
Community socials cost money. Are you helping to pay the bills?
