Cover for Sturgeon's collection The Stars Are Styx. Man on boat with many different male and female bodies. There's the three-headed Cerebrus that looks like a bulldog behind him. The boat has a skull for a prow with wings.

The title story in the Sturgeon collection--“The Stars Are the Styx” (1950)--is good!
