The proscription of Palestine Action as a terrorist group starts tomorrow.

This is a dangerous escalation in the criminalisation of political dissent in the UK.

It’ll increase surveillance, particularly under the Prevent Duty, and censorship under the Online Safety Act.

@openrightsgroup Blair and Starmer appear to be licking fascist boots with even more enthusiasm than the Conservatives. How long they can do it for, when many of the English, most of the Scottish and Welsh know it for what it is? My hope is the Liberal Democrat’s and Green’s will kick them out. If not, we’ll be joining the #WorldRevolution to end the oligarchs mob rule of gaming party divisions to protect their totalitarian world order once and for all. Either that or they get their final solution of death camps and ecocide! #TheGreatCollapse#OligarchsAreHydra#EndTheTWO#TotalitarianEcocide#DiverseInterestsDemocraticRight#EarthAndPeopleFirst

I support #PalestineAction because I'm against #genocide and #WarCrimes such as starving, bombing and shooting a civilian population.

Unlike #YvetteCooper and #KeirStarmer and this #UKLabour government who are still sending weapons to the criminal Israeli regime.

None of that will change because they've made it illegal for me to say so tomorrow.

#UKLabour is anti democracy in UK and pro mass murder of #Palestinians in #Gaza, and pro #apartheid in #Israel.

Why?

At the heart of this decision is the logic of ‘pre-crime’.

Where the state intervenes not just against unlawful acts, but also against political expression that it considers might become threatening.

This turns activism into extremism. Legitimate political demands into a national security threat.

As there’s no public evidence of any link to terrorism or support of terrorist groups from Palestine Action, Open Rights Group supports their decision to appeal proscription.

While we may have differing opinions on their tactics, we stand against this attack on their right to exist and speak out.
