Shopping should be safe and transparent.

Too many consumers face dark patterns, misleading offers, and products that do not meet safety standards.

The 2030 Consumer Agenda sets the path for safer, clearer, and more sustainable choices.

It focuses on:
🌍Completing the single market
💻 Digital fairness that tackles dark patterns and unfair personalisation
♻️ Sustainable and repairable choices
🛡️Better enforcement

Safe and fair for every consumer ❤️.

@EUCommission Why are you taking apart Europe’s robust privacy law to enable non-european big tech companies to better monetise our private data then?

@EUCommission Thank you for your honesty, EU Commission! Looking at your campaign, this particular post has come as close as possible to the underlying matter. The focus is only on economic exploits, not Citizens/People.

I'd rather would want to see revealing a future where CITIZENS come first, not CONSUMERS

When citizens come first, you would stand up to protect our right to privacy, protection from mass surveillance and chat control, strong GDPR that protects us against the onslaught of surveillance capitalism and personal data exploitation by US Tech Bro commerce and GenAI LLMs.

Back to the drawing board. It's about the people, us EU citizens, stupid!

How about this?
Privacy rights should be protected.
Politics and Lobbyism should be transparent.
Economy should be safe and fair.

@EUCommission as a consumer, I will feel more SAFE when you stop attempts to force #spyware on my phone that inspects all my communication, images and links. And don't tell me about TRUST when you try to force me to use my ID when I want to communicate with others.

@EUCommission

"Giving money away should be easy, straightforward, safe, and transparent. Forget your privacy, your sovereignty, your independence, and your future. Don't cha worry about it. It's all fine. You won't need it where you're going."

@EUCommission All welcome, but

Downgrading the GDPR is a pretty dark pattern.

And ChatControl is the darkest of all.

Why are you then proposing to strip away consumer privacy protections in the "Digital Omnibus"?

@EUCommission businesses get a fast-tracked €5B giveaway to legally violate our privacy and *this* requires a five year delay... Why?

Lobbying is completely indistinguishable from bribery. So who do I have to pay off to keep *my* freedoms? Do you hold impromptu auctions or what?

@EUCommission those emoji bullet points are a dead giveaway this was written by AI. They don't even care enough about this perfunctory lip-service to write it themselves.

@EUCommission Stop surveillance, regarding both #ChatControl and the #DigitalOmnibus. How ironic of you to post all these

@EUCommission Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Wait, I can fix it for you:

“Consumer comes first“, when the topic is mass surveillance or cutting privacy!
