And apparently, the "fine, I'll build my own WhatsApp" movement is not limited to PyQt6. We've got not one, but two more projects taking the Rust route: whatRust and whatsapp-rust. Because seemingly wrapping WhatsApp Web wasn't enough. Now we need to rebuild the whole thing in Rust too. It is good to see something positive news from the USA, I just hope that this works and that it has cros party support so it carries on regardless of who is in the whitehouse, of course any scheme must also help people with any issues (health, addiction) but getting off the street is a good start.
