Ohyes.. Before we forget it.. At #FOSDEM, we attended a workshop on the European Social Web organised by @evan of @SocialWebFoundation. The group agreed that social sovereignty in Europe depends on interoperability, decentralisation, open standards, and open source. A vision paper is in progress and will be released soon. Preludes were shared at #2MR by @michael and @bjoernsta.

You REALLY should remove the tracking codes from Youtube links now.
They started showing a popup about who sent the link and offering a (maybe new) DM feature, potentially revealing your personal account name to anyone who opens the link.

So…Bitwarden quietly swapped their CEO for a PE exit specialist, dropped “Always free”, rewrote their values, then half-scrubbed a 4 year old blog post to cover it. Post still contradicts itself. I looked. There was no announcement.

@kkarhan @ela The RAM limit on Intel Silicon macs is because the RAM and SSD is on-die (or chiplet-based and in the same carrier) with the CPU. The bandwidth is *insane*. Even a weedy Mac Neo (with a phone chipset, minus a core!) feels really fast.
Downside: you can't easily upgrade a single slab of silicon with on-die memory. Might be possible to slap a bunch of DDR5 into a TBolt5 attached peripheral as a very fast SSD and then have the OS swap to it, but that's about it.
