Our newest character Kumiai-ki (The Mighty Labor Union Machine), is inspired by the vintage "Super Robot" or "Shogun Warrior" line.
You can see Kumiai-ki standing here standing with a vintage Grendizer toy.
Kumiai-ki is fresh off the production line. These are not final colors, and he is currently unpainted.
But putting him side by side with Grendizer? It is immediately apparent they're part of the same family.
Our toy lines are quickly becoming a large family!

I mean if we're being honest - Biden saved the Republican Party. Because in a functioning democracy, you go after and remove the entire coup - the politicians who participated, voted for it, tried to sanctify it, the party who supported it, and the billionaire donors who paid for it while OPENLY STRATEGIZING IN PUBLIC to overturn a lawfully conducted US election.
The GOP should have been an ILLEGAL ORGANIZATION by January 21st, 2021. And it wasn't. And that's on Joe Biden. He saved them.
are there any tina fans on the atmosphere?
when my productivity gains come to visit for summer break you're going to feel SO stupid for saying she's made-up
@SnoopJ "She lives in Canada."

FOUR FUCKING YEARS.
That's how long they had to do something - ANYTHING - about J6.
Still waiting.
And those brownshirts (not one person a rank above) who did go down for J6...?
Yeah. They all got fucking pardoned.
#floss #networking I need to replace a couple of old network switches.
Are there any companies doing open source switch hardware and software? I would like to tinker.
- 1U
- 12 or more10G fiber ports
- a couple of faster uplinks would be nice
- decent RESTish API or ansible support
Something like https://vyos.io #vyos seems suitable but it looks like I would have to diy my own hardware
@dch IPng does this (not switch but open source hardware) take a look at https://ipng.ch/s/articles/ to see my dabblings. We run AS8298 on fully open source hard- and software.
Can we please not do this pointless dialogue every few months? It is just fundamentally wrong and misunderstands the nature of social networks, let alone how people use them. And yet it tends to suck up a ton of wasted energy. [Turning comments off on this because no time for this again]

@johannab Miserable business, dealing with mobile companies in Canada. Good luck!
@mpjgregoire I think I'm finally back to the first department, but on the phone, they say they can cancel the service I don't have now, in "about 2 minutes, max".
I had forgotten part of this whole mess is that when I moved my actual cell phone service last FEBRUARY that they not only would only give me a credit-on-account, but they also doubled my base rate for the low-cost "Flex data" that I'd had for about 10 years already. Then billed me 4x that for using 502 MB one time.
Any web #hosting company will rent you space on their servers.
At Henhouse Computing Cooperative, you *own* the server.
You also get a vote in how the service is run and share of any profits.
Now taking beta testers at https://henhouse.coop.

No one ever had to yell “adapt or die” to get me to use any other bit of technology in my life.
Literally everything Trump does is "and that's why you have to elect Democrats who literally enabled the rise of Trump and haven't done ANYTHING to oppose fascism since Roosevelt was alive."
It's nuts. Just absolutely fucking nonsensical. You might have an argument for voting Dem but it is absolutely not " to stop the fascism" because newsflash we did that in 2020 and Biden did not stop the fascism. I'm not sure he even TRIED to be honest with you.

"Labour have said they won't necessarily commit right away to reinstating it. So we haven't necessarily seen a strong approach from Labour saying what they would do."
#LaraGreaves, 2026
One of the hosts read my mind with their reply;
"Well, we don't see much of a strong approach from Labour on anything at the moment, do we?"

NZ Labour continue to squat the centre-right, offering little or nothing. Just like in 2023. So the NatACT First regime has a realistic chance at winning another term, despite being deeply unpopular.
That's Labour's fault to some degree. But it's also the electorate's fault, for being willfully blind to the existence of centre-left parties they could vote for instead. Labour is like an abusive partner most left voters just can't give up on; 'maybe it will be different this time?'
