Here's another neat Bonfire feature: organisation profiles.
You can create a shared profile for your co-op, collective, project, or any other organisation or team, and invite trusted people to manage it with you.
Each team member signs in with their usual Bonfire account, with no insecure sharing of passwords, and together they can post as the organisation, access its feeds and private messages, manage its settings, and add or remove other members.
It’s similar to managing a Facebook Page, but built for the #fediverse: one shared public identity, securely managed by multiple people.

oh that's really interesting they actually reduce discrete log in the XTR supergroup to ECC by contradiction in an actual complexity theoretic argument that XTR DH is more powerful than ECC DH
(which is not intended to conclusively answer the question in the affirmative! but it helps to take the narrative away from "ECC is not prone to [x attack]" and more back to "we can actually guarantee security for these parameters and use cases")

that's the guy who actually did the sunzi's theorem approach against discrete logs (which i personally believe almost definitely still applies to ECC) and unfortunately while i think factoring numbers is super evil, the paper itself is really good. he doesn't overstate anything, doesn't try to convince the reader probabilistic running time is real, just explains how it works at each step. good paper

Es war je nun gerade kein Urteil, sondern ein Vergleich. Im Deutschlandfunk gab es heute einen ausführlichen Beitrag dazu, in dem ausgeführt wurde, dass Meta relativ wenige Interessen aufgegeben und recht viel von ihrem Geschäftsmodell in den Vergleich reinverhandelt hat.
@Binko deshalb steht da Settlement. Meta hatte Angst vor einem Urteil und kapituliert.
Ich hab das ausfuehrlich analysiert und haue es am Sonntag in meinen Newsletter raus.
Das war die Klage der Bundesstaaten. Es liegen nun 1300 Schuldistrikte vor Meta und die kennen den Preis!
Die Nummer ist noch lange nicht vorbei und zu glauben, dass Meta unter Trump von Staatsanwaelten einen mitbekomt war eh utopisch

@greenpeace To be fair, they might be rare because nobody bought them, because they were Bad. AI doesn't 'care' about the quality of the sources it uses. If 'Big A' just needs examples of English used badly, there is plenty in 'Right Wing' social media, which is probably where the LLM generated is going to be used. I saw an obviously fake post and photograph of a fasch army being recruited in the UK, which was clearly far more dangerous than a few pensioners holding Palestine Action posters.
@tclementdev @pasi Good point. One of our feature requests, which I plan to do, is a back button so you can navigate back to it. (NetNewsWire of Yore had this feature.) (It’s already possible to search.)
