Naw, America isn't "the world" - but it is the locus and high church of the cult of capitalism. And capitalism is literally burning us all to death. So unfortunately there is no "saving the world" without doing something about America in this context. There are of course, multiple possible "somethings" - but in this sense, American capitalism must fall because the rest of capitalism globally exists in collaboration with it and won't go down as long as it remains.

"The Tohono O’odham Nation says approximately 20 masked and armed Customs and Border Protection agents escorted Department of Homeland Security contractors onto tribal land Tuesday, where the contractors began conducting pre-construction activities at three locations near the U.S.-Mexico border.

I'd just be a lot more sympathetic to your position if it was "hey, I'm gonna take a day off from the nonstop rioting to get rid of Hitler I've been doing to vote for the lesser evil on the off chance the American legal and political systems can repair some of the damage these Nazis are doing but I assure you I'll be right back to the barricades once I've dropped off my ballot..."
But it's not. And I think you know that.
And I'm not criticizing your courage or whatever. I'm telling you that your plan for how to stop these nazis, unfuck the hellworld and indeed save the entire species, doesn't make a lotta sense and is extremely unlikely to be effective - not just enough, but even at all.
