Yall I can't wait for the new Fable to come out later this year 🔥🔥🔥
Classic
This guy 🤦♂️
Sen. John Fetterman: "I've seen a picture. Assuming it's not AI, so far the reflecting pool looks good. If that's $13 million, really, that's small. We do need a ballroom."
h/t Aaron Rupar
Sometimes people try to reassure me that I'll still be fluent within a year of having gotten here, but the way my anxious brain tends to take that is "Oh no, the clock is ticking, and if I'm not fluent by August, I'm a failure."
@BathysphereHat Give yourself a break. That's not an unusual migrant experience.
People communicate roughly about 1/3 with their household, 1/3 with their workplace or school, and 1/3 with everyone else -- online, neighbors, stores, clubs, friends, extended family, whatever.
If your home and work are both English-speaking, and you're mostly socializing online and off with anglophones, you're not immersed enough to become fluent in the language of the surrounding community.
GitHub says it has no problems with security researchers using AI to find bugs in its service, but it has a problem with researchers filing bad reports that haven't been validated, are extra-verbose and long, and don't contain steps to reproduce and a proof-of-concept.
Basically, KISS!
@campuscodi
Microsomething does not want to wade through AI slop?
Well well.
Makes you think?
@CiaraNi @janeadams Inter-railing we made friends on the channel ferry. They told us to look them up if we made it to Italy. The directions were ‘train to Casarsa, bus to Spilimbergo and ask for us.
We did, found them, and spent a great week with proper Italian home cooking.
Thank you @bthylafh
@baoigheallain @janeadams I'm getting nostalgic now for the way we used to give people directions to our homes before, say, a party. Hand-drawing a map, sketching in a few self-selected things we subjectively thought might serve as useful landmarks - that pub; this corner shop with the odd sign; the enormous pothole right on the corner.

@bortzmeyer L'université ?
@dada Le second train, celui qui passe à Esch sur Alzette.
ISP technician this morning telling me about how humans have invented a new god with AI. That we as people have exceeded our programming.
You know, while he was recapping coax cables.
@rmondello I’m starting to think that these people who should know better — Dude, your so-called “god” can’t even function without you fixing those cables — have just been looking for an off-ramp from critical thinking all their lives, and now have one.
💕Just a reminder that a Palestinian mother loves her children just as much as you do!🌺
🇨🇦 looked at 🇺🇸's surveillance problems and said: hold our beer.
#BillC22 is proposing far greater surveillance, and a permanent treasure of private Canadian data no other democracy demands.
It's wildly dangerous, and we need to shut it down, NOW!

@dada Mais celui pour l'université est bon, et c'est une visite sympa.

Someone *really* does not want the #EpsteinFiles and #TrumpFiles to be made public. How many Israeli politicians are exposed in the files?
> Deutsche Bahn racked up a whopping 67 years of delays in 2025. That's almost as much as all other countries combined. With only 58.5% punctuality, it's no wonder "the train is delayed" is Germany's unofficial catchphrase.
@VincentTunru @chuuchuu Wow, that is amazingly bad. I am used to the occasional delay in the UK, but looking at the data, it looks like Germany is well ahead of us when it comes to encouraging people to walk and cycle more.
