MIT student exposed to Dimethyl Mercury (rumoured to have synthesized it himself and took it to a lab meeting, whereupon there was a spill).
NB: DMM is pretty much the benchmark for nerve agent toxicity. See also Karen Wetterhahn's entry on wikipedia if you want to know more. (This is the organic chemistry equivalent of building your own "demon core".)

We saw a badger in the garden! And I tried really hard to take a picture of it! And.... if you squint you might be able to convince yourself the blur in the middle of the picture is a badger!
(I am happy to have badgers, because they eat rodents that eat my garden. I just hope the badger is not hanging around during dog walking time)
I opened up Apple Maps' search box and its new ads suggested I go to JetBlue Airways, the JetBlue terminal at JFK airport 39 miles away.
I opened up Google Maps' search box, and 100% of the screen space is devoted to my presets (Home/Work/etc.) and my Recent searches.
Apple continues to embarrass itself with its shitty ad plays.
In the meantime, I'll keep using Google Maps, because it's just *better*, and — something I never thought I'd say — it respects me more as the user, with fewer ads. 🤯
@marcoarment I prefer the driving experience of Apple Maps, but literally everything else is better in Google Maps.

I am worried that Riseup is the next on the list of sanctions. (Disclaimer: back in the day, before I could afford self-hosting in my college days, I used to have accounts on both)
@lcamtuf I am now so thankful that “electrician” is a licensed and regulated trade in Australia, and that the entire concept of “just do your own mains wiring bro” is such a foreign concept that approximately nobody does it

After twenty years working in jobs where I had to wear a suit and tie I started somewhere with casual dress. Was really enjoying my new wardrobe until I realised I was dressed as the fat guy from Jurassic Park who steals DNA. Got the suits back out.

Si ok, il controllo completo, ma comunque le funzioni PRO non si possono abilitare perchè TUTTI i client hanno inchiodato nel codice un controllo che, senza l'acquisto di una "licenza offline" blocca le funzioni pro anche sui self-hosted.
Forse, con un fork dei client... ma non mi risulta ne esistono
