Cancel contracts with US firms.

Get off American tech.

Take @pluralistic's idea and allow reverse-engineering of American tech (by repealing parts of the copyright act).

There's a variant of the allocator which attempts to supply contiguous runs, thus making reads of the file faster. As well as a method for zeroing out each entry of a linkedlist within that File Allocation Table.

There's a method which wraps a cache-class in the appropriate bittwiddling depending on whether we've got a FAT32, FAT16, or FAT12 filesystem.

Then there's methods for counting up how much space is free, & another to init that cache & read in various properties.

@rasterweb @mathias @requiem I don't think any feed readers look at sitemap.xml. A reasonable implementation of the sitemap protocol should list all the pages on your site, and should break the list across multiple files, but that's only to tell search engines what you have rather than waiting for them to discover it all by crawling. (And these days there's a reasonable question to ask about whether you even want that.)

An RSS feed has a different purpose, and paginating it has different requirements and works differently. I did write a WordPress plugin for that (https://github.com/jameysharp/wp-fullhistory) though I'm not an experienced WordPress or PHP developer so all I can say is it seems to work 😅
